Fear

"I will show you fear in a handful of dust" - T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land

We don't actually fear death; we fear that no one will miss our absence. That we will disappear without a trace. It reminds me of the bible quote, "For dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

What do you think?

  1. I do not think that I fear being dead, but I think I might be afraid of how I might die...Only if I think about it though. The scariest thought for me is, "did I live my life well?" What if I messed up and really messed up my life and I didn't know it?! I would miss you! So don't worry!!
